Montreal At Home Personal Lifestyle Branding Photoshoot

Montreal At Home Personal Branding Lifestyle Photoshoot

It is no secret that my first passion is photographing weddings and couples (both engagements and proposals), but I have recently been also loving lifestyle and branding sessions.

Branding photoshoots can be either personal (for your LinkedIn, social media, dating profile etc..) or business focused (for your website, blog, social media etc…). In Short Branding photos are used to market yourself no matter how you define your brand.

For this branding shoot with Jennifer, we opted for candid natural style because she wants to reflect her personality as laidback but at the same time professional. Therefore, we went for few outfits; some more casual with jeans and bright colors and other with statement colors and fitted blazers

At Home Lifestyle Branding Shoot

The first part of the shoot took place at home. Starting in a familiar environment helped Jennifer warm up in front of the camera and get comfortable posing. It also allowed for easier and faster outfit changes. Jennifer’s home also reflected her brand, nice modern furniture with statement art and lovely plants that add greenery.  We also wanted to reflect Jennifer’s confident personality, so we focused on looking straight at the camera. But we also wanted to show her approachable personality and captured many natural and candid laughs to showcase that.

Montreal Downtown Lifestyle Branding Photoshoot

In the second part of the shoot, we headed outside in downtown Montreal, more specifically Westmount Square Area for a bit of a different look. Here Jennifer opted for jeans with heels look and layered wit ha leather jacket that was the perfect accessory. To also maintain the natural and candid look, we stayed away from static poses and focused on movement in the photos and most important natural smiles that are crucial for the personal approachable brand we were aiming for.

I absolutely loved both part of this shoot ; at home and downtown and I would recommend a similar approach if you are also looking to have your own personal or branding lifestyle photoshoot.
