Dow's Lake Pavilion Engagement Photoshoot in Ottawa- Eliza & Salman

Ottawa Engagement Photoshoot at Dow’s Lake Pavilion - Eliza & Salman

Eliza and Salman booked me two years before their wedding date and that meant we had a bit over a year and a half to plan the engagement photoshoot. We wanted unique locations where the couple would feel like themselves but also would make great backdrop for the photos.

Dows lake was one of the top choices, it is usually not overly crowded which allows for intimacy and privacy during the shoot. And it is even quitter if you go on a weekday. We headed to Dow’s lake right before sunset to capture the golden and pink hues that were a perfect match for Eliza’s pink dress.

Before Dow’s lake, I spent part of the afternoon with Eliza and Salman at the Canadian Museum of History for the first part of their engagement photoshoot which you can see here. Since Eliza and Salman initially dressed a bit more formally with heels and all, in the second part Eliza opted for more relaxed flowy summer pink dress.

As in their first shoot, Eliza and Salman were complete naturals, I only gave them few posing tips and they directly fall into the flow which reflects in their photos with amazing smiles and emotion filled looks.  I will let you the photos speak for themselves on how in love this amazing couple is.

If you loved the colours and fashion style of Eliza and Salma’s engagement photoshoots, you need to stay tuned for the blog post about their wedding. It was an absolute color fiesta! Which I simply love. (blog post coming soon)
