The first ever wedding I shot was a Pakistani wedding and to this day, Pakistani weddings hold a special place in my heart !

I Love  every aspect of Desi weddings; colorful bangles, beaded Lehengas (Bridal outfit/dress) , gorgeous smokey makeup, Unique Baraat (groom entrance) , emotional Rukhsati (bride saying goodbye to her family), playful Joota Chupai (shoe stealing game) and unique diverse entertainment performances ! It is so hard from me to stop myself from dancing whenever I shoot Desi weddings :)

Sanna & Adnan's wedding was no different with all the above mentioned parts and it extended over 3 days (Mehendi, Nikah and Walima). However, It was special in the fact that these events happened in two different locations. The bride is from Ottawa so she hosted the Mehendi and Nikah in her home town in the gorgeous Chateau Laurier and the groom is from Toronto so he hosted the Walima there at Payal Banquet hall in Mississauga
