Ice Cream date Engagement Photos and Sunset Engagement Photography with pet dog at Parc de la Visitation- Amanda & Dominic
Amanda and Dominic are local to Montreal and wanted their engagement shoot to be as homey as possible. For this they chose to have their engagement photos at the local parc where they usually walk their dog and go for summer ice cream dates.
The day of the engagement photos, we headed to parc de la Visitation in Montreal Nord. The area is very lovely with cute wooden bridges, old homes on Gouin and the cutest ice cream shop where we went for a little refreshment.
As much as I love an adventurous session in the mountains or by waterfalls, choosing a familiar setting is a perfect choice for a laid-back session to get the couple at ease and show their authentic relationship dynamics. Also, the fact that Amanda and Dominic brough their dog along for the shoot, it helps to have her relaxes in a place she is already familiar with.
We were also blessed by a gorgeous golden hour and sunset rays were just gorgeous peeking through the leaves at Parc de La visitation.
