Waterfalls Pre-Wedding Adventure Session and Fall Engagement Photos in Quebec City - Gu and Ken
Waterfalls Adventure Pre-Wedding and Fall Engagement Photos in Quebec City - Gu and Ken
Gu and Ken flew all the way from Alberta to Quebec City for this photoshoot. They are originally from Korea but love traveling so whenever they go to a new city, they pack their wedding outfits to take photos wearing them. The catch is, Gu and Ken are not married yet, but they have been together for over 10 years. I bet the day they do get married; they will have an amazing collection of bridal photos from all over the world to showcase.
This unusual setup makes me unsure if I would call this engagement photos, wedding photos or even elopement photos. The bridal outfits make it feel like an elopement, but the laid-back nature of the shoot makes it feels like an engagement. We literally had the whole day to walk around the city and go for the waterfalls hike near Mont Saint Anne.
When Gu and Ken first messaged me, they had high expectations for their Quebec City shoot because of its popularity in the Korean drama Goblin, also known as “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God”. They wanted to follow the filming locations of the Korean drama which we did, and you can see in this blog post . We also make sure to stop by Plains of Abraham and Old Quebec which you can see here. But also, being an adventurous couple, they wanted to also find unique locations in Quebec City for their pre wedding engagement photos. So, we decided to add another stop and do go to a hiking trail leading to these gorgeous waterfalls. The hike was even more gorgeous thanks to the beautiful fall leaves colors that started to change mid October. These fall colors were also a great memory for of their fall engagement photos.
Gu and Ken were amazing to work with. They gladly woke up extra early to shoot in Quebec City and avoid the crowds and followed me for this crazy hike for their waterfalls adventure session. These photos are just gorgeous and their determination for the photos certainly paid off.
