I actually grew to really enjoy shooting weddings in the winter because we get the most beautiful light reflecting off the snow and we don't have to fight with tourists over the streets of Old Montreal (a real bonus right here ! ^_^).

At our initial meeting, when I learned that the wedding will take place at The Forest and Steam Club, I got even more excited for it since this venue has been on my bucket list of venues i want to shoot at. The building itself is gorgeous with awesome decor that can be beautifully incorporated at the getting ready photos. And the big bonus; it has a gorgeous waterfront backyard.

I Love every aspect of Desi weddings; colorful bangles, beaded Lehengas (Bridal outfit/dress) , gorgeous smokey makeup, Unique Baraat (groom entrance) , emotional Rukhsati (bride saying goodbye to her family), playful Joota Chupai (shoe stealing game) and unique diverse entertainment performances ! It is so hard from me to stop myself from dancing whenever I shoot Desi weddings :)
