Fariha and Naeem’s wedding took place last year in Toronto and I was not able to photograph their wedding. I was bummed to have missed their gorgeous Bengali wedding celebration. Luckily, this year, Fariha reached out to me and we were able to schedule an anniversary bridal shoot together. Fariha is originally from Montreal and they often come back to Visit their family so Montreal was a natural choice for their anniversary bridal shoot location.

I very much enjoy anniversary photoshoots because they are as relaxing as engagement photoshoots, but you can also dress up or even put back on your wedding dress. Fariha chose the latter, she put on her gorgeous purple bridal Lehenga (bridal dress), got her makeup done and ordered an amazing bridal bouquet from Kyoto Fleurs to match the look.

We spent the afternoon walking around Montreal old port for their couple’s shoot and took advantage of the beautiful French architecture of the Vieux Montreal that they didn’t have access to during their wedding shoot in Toronto.

I loved the energy of Fariha and Naeem, they are super in love and cute together. They kept making each other laugh and giving me the most candid looks during their bridal photoshoot. I cannot wait to have them in front of my camera again.
